This is the official site of the University of Waterloo Mars Rover Team.
The team is a joint effort between the Waterloo Space Society and the Waterloo Robotics Team .
The team was formed back in 2008 as the first space-related Engineering project on campus. Since then, students from various faculties have been designing, and building a stand-alone, off-the-grid, mobile vehicle to compete in the University Rover Challenge organized by the Mars Society.
While the team intends to be very successful at the competition, its main vision is to raise awareness about space exploration around campus and to develop technologies that can help solve some of the current most interesting challenges in planetary exploration and robotics. Please visit the team page for more infomation.
